What are the fares?

CDTA’s base fare is $1.50.
STAR base fare is $2.50.

What discount programs are available?

The Swiper card is still the best deal in transit. If your employer participates in the CDTA Corporate Swiper program, you can save even more money.  Reduced cost or free Swiper cards are provided to eligible individuals through social service agencies, housing assistance organizations and the Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.

For more details, contact CDTA Sales at 437-6876, or visit our fares page.  Senior citizens (65 and older) and customers with disabilities can ride for half the cost of the new base fare, or 75 cents. In addition they can purchase half fare Swipers and Day Cards. 

Where does CDTA sell passes and tickets?

CDTA sell passes and tickets at local Hannaford Supermarkets, Bank of America, Key Bank, Saratoga Springs Train Station, Proctor's Theater Box Office and Price Chopper Supermarkets. Click here for locations
