CDTA Service Changes Are Now in Effect 

 

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) has announced the following service changes went  into effect on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Highlights include improved service on key trunk routes and enhanced frequency on high performing neighborhood routes. Some minor time adjustments have also been made to other routes for schedule reliability.

Service Enhancements

  • Route #13 (New Scotland Avenue) – service frequency will be improved to once every 20 minutes during weekday afternoons.
  • Route #22 (Albany-Troy-Watervliet) – Saturday morning service will start earlier (at 5:30am), while service frequency on Saturday will be improved to once every 20 minutes.
  • Route #50 (Route 50) – Service frequency on weekdays (between Peak AM/PM) will be improved to once every 45 minutes.
  • Route #182 (Troy-Cohoes-Latham-Albany) – Service frequency on weekdays (between 9:00am and 2:00pm) will be improved to once every 30 minutes.
  • Route #354 (Rotterdam Square Mall/Nott Street) – Service frequency on weekdays (between 9:00am and 5:00pm) will be improved to once every 35 minutes.
  • Route #712 (Harriman Campus/Patroon Creek) – These buses will no longer serve Wal-Mart at Crossgates Commons. Customers can use Route #12 buses to access Crossgates Commons.
  • Route #905 (BusPlus) – Service frequency on weekdays (between 12:00pm and 6:00pm) will be improved to once every 12 minutes. Service frequency on Sunday’s (between 8:00am and 6:00pm) will be improved to once every 20 minutes.

Time Adjustments

Minor time adjustments will be made to the following routes to improve reliability. Please review new schedules and check trip departure and arrival changes:
