CDTA is often and important stop to higher education. CDTA has partnered with area colleges and universities to provide students, faculty and staff with comprehensive transportation services. Each college has its own unique transportation arrangement tailored to their needs. Our fixed route, express and commuter routes offer convenient service to colleges throughout the Capital Region. Universal Access

The following colleges have universal access via the use of their school id card. Students can use all CDTA bus routes, our Northway Xpress Commuter service and STAR. Just swipe your ID through the farebox and go!

Hudson Valley Community College logo

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and Hudson Valley Community College's (HVCC) first year of universal access transportation partnership will end for the Summer on May 18, 2014. Service will resume beginning, August 25, 2014.
