CDTA Turns 40 this year!
On August 1st, CDTA will celebrate its 40th Anniversary and we want you to join the celebration.
- 40 years of providing service to millions and millions of riders annually
- 40 years of connecting people to jobs, shopping and healthcare appointments
- 40 years of improving the quality people's lives and the Capital Region
You're invited to celebrate this milestone birthday with CDTA by creating your own video demonstrating what CDTA means to you and how it positively impacts your life and that of our community.
Enter your YouTube video at youtube.com and you could win great prizes and have your film featured at the 2010 Ballston Spa Film Festival on August 6th and 7th!
In addition to the film festival exposure, the winner will receive 6 months of 31 Day rolling passes ($390 value) and an Apple iPhone so you can download CDTA's latest iride app. The winning video will be posted on cdta.org.
Resale of winning passes is prohibited. No gift substitutions.
Contest Guidelines Primary contest rules are as follows:
- Video submissions must celebrate CDTA's 40 years of service by demonstrating the value of CDTA individually and/or to our community.
- One submission per person. Creativity counts. CDTA employees are ineligible to compete.
- Video titles must begin with "CDTA Turns 40". Example: CDTA Turns 40: Making a Difference.
- Videos must be limited to 2 minutes in length and be suitable for all audiences.
- Contestants must upload the video to YouTube.
- Contestants must enter their video into the contest by either filling out the form found on www.cdta.org/youtube or emailing the link to iridevideocontest@cdta.org along with their contact information, including name, address, telephone and email address. Videos are due by Thursday, July 29, 2010.
- Videos will be linked to www.cdta.org/youtube and favorite on CDTA’s You Tube site www.youtube.com/iridecdta.
Give your video a title (with CDTA Turns 40 in front of it) and upload it to http://www.youtube.com/iridecdta between the dates of Monday, July 5 - July 29th. The public can cast their votes at the following email address: youtube@cdta.org
