CDPHP Cycle! Locations Announced

The votes are in – 38 locations will be home to CDPHP Cycle!

ALBANY, NY (June 15, 2017) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and CDPHP are excited to announce the locations of the CDPHP Cycle! stations. The 38 locations span across CDTA’s four county service area, and are located in densely populated, easily accessible areas of the Capital Region.

During the month of April, the public was invited to vote on desired locations or make their own suggestions at www.cdphpcycle.com. More than 200 locations were submitted. This information, along with population, access, and feasibility, were taken into consideration to determine the station locations. The selected locations are:

State and Eagle (Heading Southeast)

State and Lodge (Heading Northwest)

Maiden Lane Park

The popularity of bike-share programs has risen in recent years thanks to their success with connecting residents and tourists with local businesses. CDPHP Cycle! aims to attract new individuals to the area and showcase the Capital Region as an ideal place to live, work, and be entertained.

The program will provide 160 bikes distributed among the sites selected, with an equal number of bikes and approximately 20 new station locations next year. CDPHP Cycle! kicks off this summer.
