The Rensselaer City Police Department has announced that calling hours for Chief Warrant Officer 2 Casey Frankoski

Rensselaer, NY — The Rensselaer City Police Department has announced that calling hours for CW2 Casey Frankoski are Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Parking and shuttle service will be available beginning at 11:00 a.m. from parking lots located at 5 University Pl., Rensselaer, NY 12144 and 164 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144. The police are strongly advising that everyone wishing to pay their respects to Casey Frankoski and her family utilize these parking lots and shuttles. 

There will be multiple street closures and emergency service vehicles in the area surrounding St. John the Evangelist-St. Joseph's Church on Herrick St.  Parking will be extremely limited in the area. Parking for emergency service vehicles and uniformed personnel will be available in the Amtrak B-lot (entrance on East St. between Partition St. and Wendell St.).

Funeral services for CW2 Casey Frankoski will take place at St. John the Evangelist-St. Joseph's Church on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Shuttle services from the same parking lots will be available beginning at 9:30 a.m. The entire area from East St. at Adams St. to East St. at the entrance to the Amtrak B-lot will be closed to all traffic. Access will be strictly limited to vehicles in the funeral procession and emergency service vehicles. Anyone wishing to attend the funeral is advised to utilize the parking/shuttle options.  

Public access to the Amtrak Passenger Station for Amtrak service on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m. will be limited to the Broadway entrance to Herrick St.  The Amtrak parking garage will be accessible by taking Partition St. to East St. The main Amtrak parking lot (main station entrance) is reserved for Amtrak service and United States Postal Service customers and should not be used for calling hours/funeral
