Event Highlights Excellence and Professionalism in Maintenance and Transportation Operations
ALBANY, NY (June 12, 2025) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) hosted its annual Bus and Maintenance Roadeo on Thursday, June 12.
CDTA maintenance technicians competed in a series of exercises with pre-set defects in HVAC repair, engine repair, air brake diagnostics, and multiplex equipment. A panel of judges, comprised of CDTA staff, oversaw and scored the contestants. Below are the winners.
1st Place – Victor Singh, Omesh Satdeo, Antonio Dente
2nd Place – Lindsey Rogowski, Remington Friedlander, Nelson Cole Jr.
3rd Place – Rocco Nasso, Louis DiManno, Evan Tompkins
CDTA bus operators competed on a scored course consisting of different driving challenges. Local law enforcement and community partners judged the contestants on driving skills, knowledge of safety rules, and time performance. Below are the winners.
