Authority Donates Vehicles For Regional Holiday Efforts

(ALBANY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) today announced that two vehicles will be stationed at DeNooyer Chevrolet to accept donations this Holiday Season. CDTA alongside DeNooyer Chevrolet, Hannaford Foods, Clothes Mentor and the Empire Christian Center have teamed up to offer a special drop off location for community needs.

CDTA ANNOUNCES THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY SERVICE SCHEDULE

(ALBANY, N.Y.) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that it will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2013. Regular weekday service will resume on Friday, November 29, 2013, including the Northway Xpress (NX) Commuter Service.

Due to the Cohoes Turkey Trot the following reroute will be in effect from 9:00am until finish.

#182 to Latham Farms/Albany – Main St. to left Columbia St. to regular route.

CDTA Announces Schenectady Christmas Parade Reroutes

ALBANY, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Saturday, November 23, 2013, buses will be rerouted in downtown Schenectady from approximately 3:30pm until the end of the Christmas Parade.

The following re-routes will be in place due to road closures on State Street between Nott Terrace and Schenectady County Community College.

CDTA Announces Election Day Bus Service

(Albany, NY)  The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2013, buses will operate on a regular weekday schedule including the NX Northway Xpress Commuter service.

Anyone needing more information on reroutes or other CDTA services should contact CDTA's Information Center at 482-8822 . Information operators are on duty 6am-7pm weekdays, 8am - 6pm Saturday and 8am - 5pm Sunday's and holidays.
