Authority Teams up with Live Nation to Provide Concert Goers New Travel Option

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and Live Nation have announced a new partnership to provide shuttle service to select Saratoga Performing Arts Center events. Concert goers will have a reliable and affordable transportation option to get to the most popular shows of the summer, while reducing parking costs and congestion.

(ALBANY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2013, buses will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule. Regular weekday service will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. In addition, service will be temporarily rerouted to accommodate various Capital Region Memorial Day parades.

(Albany, NY) –The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at approximately 5:00pm,  service will be rerouted to accommodate the 2013 CDPHP Corporate Run in downtown Albany. Reroutes will  cease after the event is finished. Routes affected are as follows: 

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is collaborating with several partners on the inaugural “Green Your Commute” Day on Friday, May 17, 2013, 11:00am – 2:00pm at Tricentennial Park to highlight alternate modes of transportation and invite the public to rethink how they commute. 80% of Capital Region commuters regularly travel to work in single occupancy vehicles.

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that beginning on Friday, May 24^th through Monday, Memorial Day, May 27, 2013, the parking garage at the Rensselaer Rail Station will be temporarily closed to allow for maintenance work to be completed.

Stackrow has led the Authority during tremendous periods of change and today he pledged to expand the company’s profile as a regional economic development engine. Stackrow’s term of office begins immediately.
