Applications Being Accepted for Individuals Looking to Develop Their Career at a Growing Workplace
ALBANY, NY (September 19, 2023) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will host a career fair on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at CDTA Headquarters, 110 Watervliet Avenue, Albany.
CDTA continues to expand with the upcoming launch of our third Bus Rapid Transit line, the Purple Line, later this fall. We’re also expanding into Warren County as we merge the Greater Glens Falls Transit system into CDTA. With expansion comes the need for more employees. Applications are currently being accepted and reviewed for Bus Operators, Maintenance Technicians, and more. CDTA is looking to expand its team with hardworking, community-oriented individuals while continuing to provide best-in-class transit service to the Capital Region with its premiere fleet.
Individuals attending the career fair will get to test drive a 40-ft bus, tour the maintenance garage and examine the facility’s state-of-the-art training equipment used to prepare technicians. People who fill out an application will also be able to enjoy free food and spin our prize wheel! Come out to learn about the open positions, weekly attendance bonuses, great benefits and more.
