Meeting will be held at Crandall Public Library on April 6, 2026
ALBANY, NY (March 19, 2026)
The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will hold a public meeting on Monday, April 6, at 6:15 p.m. at the Crandall Public Library, 251 Glen Street, Glens Falls, to talk with the community about upcoming service updates for Glens Falls that will enhance the overall customer experience.
CDTA has been operating in Glens Falls for more than two years. Greater Glens Falls Transit merged into CDTA in January 2024. CDTA has now collected sufficient ridership and service data that will help to make informed changes to the routes in this area that will improve service reliability and efficiency.
CDTA plans to update Glens Falls service in two phases, focusing on optimizing schedules and enhancing service levels based on ridership and community needs. Phase one will be implemented in May, and phase two will be implemented in August.
The meeting will provide attendees with an overview of our current services in Glens Falls, map exercises, and one-on-one conversations with attendees. Following the meeting, CDTA will compile the feedback and use it to inform service changes that will be implemented during phase two.
