Lark & Washington Updates

On Sunday, July 1st, CDTA will open our new BusPlus station and shelter located on Washington Avenue in front of the Albany Public Library. 

This is a mid-block station located between Lark Street and Dove Street at the newly installed pedestrian crossing and signal.  Please be aware of the following changes to the routings and bus stops for all bus routes in the area.

Route #10

  • Outbound routing will remain on Washington Avenue after crossing Lark Street until continuing on Western Avenue after Sprague Place.  The route will no longer travel on Central Avenue, Lexington Avenue, and Robin Street.
  • Outbound bus stops at Washington & Dove and Washington & Lark (in front of Armory) will be consolidated and relocated to the new BusPlus shelter.

Route #12

  • Outbound routing will remain on Washington Avenue after crossing Lark Street. The route will no longer travel on Central Avenue and Lexington Avenue.
  • Outbound bus stops at Washington & Dove and Washington & Lark (in front of Armory) will be consolidated and relocated to the new BusPlus shelter.

Route #905

  • No routing change.
  • Outbound bus stop at Washington & Lark (in front of Armory) will be relocated to the new BusPlus shelter.

Routes #1, #182, #737

  • No routing change.
  • Outbound bus stops at Washington & Dove and Washington & Lark (in front of Armory) will be consolidated and relocated to the new BusPlus shelter.

Routes #13, #18, #734, #763

  • No routing change.
  • Outbound bus stops at Washington & Dove and Lark & Spring will be consolidated and relocated to the new BusPlus shelter.

For your safety when crossing Washington Avenue, Lark Street, and other roadways, please remember to always push the pedestrian button and wait for a walk signal before crossing the intersection.
