CDTA Announces St. Patrick's Day Parade Reroutes

ALBANY, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Saturday, March 12, 2011, buses will be rerouted in downtown Albany from approximately 2:00pm until the end of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The routes affected are:

  • #1 Central Avenue
  • #2 West Albany
  • #3 Quail St. Belt
  • #6 Second Avenue
  • #7 Glenmont
  • #8 Arbor Hill
  • #10 Western Avenue 
  • #12 Washington Avenue 
  • #13 New Scotland
  • #18 Delaware Avenue
  • #22 Albany-Watervliet-Troy
  • #55 Schenectady – Albany via Route 5
  • #214 Rensselaer – Third Street


Note: All routes will connect and transfer at SUNY Plaza/Hudson & Broadway. Anyone needing more information regarding St. Patrick’s Day parade reroutes or other CDTA services can contact CDTA’s Customer Information Center at 482-8822. Information operators are on duty 6am-7pm weekdays and 8:30am-6pm weekends and holidays.
