CDTA ANNOUNCES MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY SERVICE

(Albany, NY)     The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 16, 2012, buses will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule except for NX Northway Xpress Commuter service, which will not operate.

CDTA will also provide special, free, shuttle service for those attending the January 16, 2012 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Memorial Observance Ceremony at the Empire State Plaza (ESP) in Albany. There is no fare for this service.  

· Two (2) CDTA low floor buses will transport celebration attendees from the Empire State Plaza to Lincoln Park at the Morton Avenue entrance and back to Empire State Plaza after the ceremony. The buses will depart ESP at 11:45AM.
