CDTA TO REROUTE SERVICE TO ACCOMMODATE SOAPBOX DERBY

CDTA TO REROUTE SERVICE DURING SOAPBOX DERBY EVENT  

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that beginning on Friday, June 8th at 6:00pm and through Sunday, June 10th at 6:00pm, CDTA service will be rerouted in downtown Albany during the Soapbox Derby event. Madison Avenue between Eagle St and Swan St will be closed. The reroutes are as follows:  

Line 114: Eastbound- Right on Delaware left on Myrtle, to Park left on Eagle, right on Madison to regular route 

Line 114: Westbound- Regular route on Madison Ave until Eagle St, Left on Eagle St, Right on Park Ave, Right on Swan St, Left on Madison Ave to regular route. 

Line 214: From Market St to Left on Grand St, Right Madison Ave, Left Eagle St, Right Park Ave, Right Swan St layover Swan St at Madison Ave. 

Line 22 & 224: Southbound/Northbound: Regular route to Eagle, continue Eagle St to a right on Park, right on Swan layover Swan and Madison area.
