CDTA ANNOUNCES MINOR SERVICE CHANGES

Effective Sunday, August 26, 2012, the following minor service changes will go into effect to improve performance and efficiency.

 ·   Route #80 – will travel in-service back to downtown Troy for the 11:10pm trip.  The number of trips to Diamond Hill nursing home will be reduced from 6 to 3 weekday trips and from 4 to 2 trips on Saturday. The 2 trips on Sunday will remain the same. 

·   Route #85 – will have minor schedule changes to improve service reliability.  

·   Route #87 – will see a slight decrease in the frequency of trips after 7 pm operating from every hour to every 65 minutes. 

·   Route #224 – will have minor schedule changes to improve service reliability.  

·   Route #351 – will have a slight time change on the schedule for travel between Golub and Broadway & Draper to improve efficiency.  

·   Route #352 – will have minor schedule changes to allow for better connections with BusPlus on NY Route 5.  

·   Route #472 – will have a schedule timepoint name change; Wiebel & Route 50 will be changed to Wiebel & Hannaford Plaza.  

The following routes will be eliminated due to low ridership: 

Routes #810 Bern-Knox and 812 Rensselaerville will be eliminated due to low ridership. CDTA is partnering with Town of Berne and Department of Aging to replace #810 with van service. #812 riders have access to shopping buses provided by the Town of Rensselaerville
