CDTA TO PROVIDE FREE RIDES AND SPECIAL SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR SARATOGA FIRST NIGHT ATTENDEES

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that it will provide free rides to Saratoga First Night attendees on the eve of December 31st, co-sponsored by Saratoga Arts. CDTA Saratoga bus service will be free from 4:00PM –1:00AM on Routes #50, #472 Lake Avenue, and #473 Jefferson Avenue. 

In addition to regular service, CDTA will operate one route in a loop using two special shuttles going in each direction. The route will travel from Congress Park to City Center on to Lake Ave. to Nelson Ave. to Union and return to Congress Park and run in the opposite direction. 

Special CDTA service will operate every 15 minutes. CDTA supervisors will be stationed at Congress Park to assist customers as needed.
