Go Green and Ride Free to the 2013 Tulip Festival!

Make your way to the Tulip Festival the GREEN way this spring by taking CDTA. We all know that riding the bus reduces your carbon footprint, will trim your commute costs and your stress level all at once!  Dump the pump for the 2013 Tulip Festival, just park your car and ride! Visit the CDTA booth at the Festival to learn more about CDTA's services.

Free Tulip Festival Shuttle Service
To help ease parking and traffic congestion, CDTA will provide free shuttle service for the 2013 Albany Tulip Festival held in Washington Park. The shuttle will operate on Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th from 12:00pm – 6:00pm. The shuttle will travel to Washington Park from two Park-and-Ride lot locations: Elk and Hawk Streets and the OGS parking garage on Madison Avenue and Eagle Street. 

STAR riders
CDTA will also offer free STAR paratransit shuttle service for disabled riders who are unable to use the regular shuttle bus. The STAR shuttle service will travel to and from the Thurlow Terrace Parking lot on Western Avenue and the Washington Park Lakehouse. 

Other Festival travel options
  •Take BusPlus, CDTA’s limited stop service on Route 5.  To get to Washington Park, attendees will take
   BusPlus to the Lark Street BusPlus stop and walk a couple of blocks to the Park. 
  •Use bike racks on buses to begin or complete your trip.
