Concert Attendees Can Ride To Reduce Traffic Congestion & Keep It Green

(Albany, NY) – The City of Albany’s Alive at Five Concert series once again features The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) as a preferred transportation partner. CDTA is proud to present the kickoff of the summer concert series at Albany’s Riverfront Park featuring The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Super 400.

CDTA is reinforcing its message that public transit helps reduce traffic congestion, while providing a safe and environmentally-sound way to get around. Concert goers can avoid the hassles of driving and parking while being connected to just about anywhere. Riders are listening as CDTA recently announced its highest ridership in 30 years at nearly 16,000,000 total boardings.

Travel Trainers will be available to assist attendees with travel itineraries and will hand out information along with plenty of giveaways. There are a number of convenient and affordable transit routes available from State Street, Broadway and South Pearl Streets. CDTA is helping to grow the event with nearly a dozen routes within walking distance and close proximity to BusPlus’ limited stop service.
