CDTA TO PROVIDE FREE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR 2013 SARATOGA VICTORIAN STREETWALK

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from approximately 4:30pm – 10:30pm, it will provide free transportation service for Saratoga Victorian Streetwalk attendees.

Shuttle service will operate approximately every 20 minutes from three different Park-&-Ride lots, providing connections to Broadway: the Empire State College lot at 111 West Avenue, the NYRA (Oklahoma track) lot on East Avenue and at the Weibel Avenue ice skating rinks.

Due to the Broadway street closures, some CDTA service will be rerouted:

Route #50:
Northbound: Regular route on Ballston Avenue (Route 50) to a L/Hamilton Street, R/Congress Street, L/Broadway, R/Spring Street, L/Putman, to Lake then back to regular route.

Southbound: Regular route on High Rock to Lake Avenue, R/Lake , L/Putman, R/Spring Street, L/Broadway  to regular route

Route #472 :
Northbound: Regular route on Church Street bear L/Van Dam to Route 50, R/ Rock, R/ Maple, L/ Lake to regular route.

Southbound: Regular route on Lake Ave until Maple , R/ Maple , L/Rock, to L/Rt 50 , to Van Dam to regular route                

Route #473:
Northbound: Regular route to Van Dam, to Route 50, R/ Rock, R/Maple Avenue to Putman, L/Spring Street to regular route.

Southbound: REVERSE NORTHBOUND TRIP
