(Albany, N.Y.) – On New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2013, CDTA will offer free rides to customers on all regular route and STAR services beginning at 8:00pm in support of Capital Region Stop DWI efforts. CDTA has provided free service on New Year’s Eve for 30 consecutive years to help discourage “drinking and driving” across the area.

Revelers Have Additional Travel Choice To Celebrate Responsibly

“Our tradition of providing free service gives piece of mind to riders across our region that they can travel safely while ringing in the New Year,” said CDTA Chairman David M. Stackrow.  “We encourage tavern owners and party hosts to promote this free service to help ensure a Safe and Happy New Year for everyone.”
