CDTA Continues Support of Mother’s Day Weekend Tradition
ALBANY, NY (May 7, 2026) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will once again offer complimentary shuttle service for the 78th annual Albany Tulip Festival, taking place May 9 and 10 in Albany’s Historic Washington Park.
CDTA will provide complimentary shuttle service to Washington Park from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, and Sunday, May 10, from three designated locations. Those locations are:
- Elk Street Parking Lot (behind the State Education Building): Pick up at the corner of Elk and Hawk streets. Free parking is available.
- Eagle Street Parking Lot (Eagle Street and Madison Avenue): Free parking is available.
- Albany Medical Center Parking Lot (off Robin Street): This location is designated for customers requiring additional assistance or using mobility devices. Drop-off will be at the Madison Avenue/New Scotland Avenue park entrance.
Shuttles will run approximately every 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic.
