Trolley Service to Run Thursday through Saturday
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (June 3, 2026) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will once again be providing trolley service for the community and visitors for the 158th running of the Belmont Stakes. CDTA is providing mobility options so people don’t have to worry about parking or traffic congestion.
The trolley will run from Thursday, June 4, through Saturday, June 6. The trolley service will be free for customers, courtesy of NYRA and the Saratoga Casino Hotel. It will operate roughly every 30 minutes from noon until 10 p.m. The Belmont Stakes Trolley (#875) offers convenient service to hotels and attractions along Broadway in downtown, Nelson Avenue near the Saratoga Race Course, and the Saratoga Casino Hotel. Riders can download the Navigator app and track the trolley for real time and stop information.
The public is also encouraged to utilize CDTA’s bike share program, CDPHP Cycle! This year, the community can use the code “26BELMONT” for 30 minutes of free riding from Wednesday, June 3, to Sunday, June 7. There are both pedal and electric bikes available for rent.
