CDTA Announces Slate of Officers for the Fiscal Year 2026

ALBANY, NY (April 30, 2025) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) Board of Directors approved their slate of officers for the fiscal year 2026 at their meeting on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Jayme B. Lahut was elected Board Chairman. This is Lahut’s sixth term as Board Chairman. He is the former Executive Director of Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority.

“I am honored to continue to serve as Chairman of the CDTA Board of Directors,” said Jayme Lahut. “The past year has been marked by incredible achievements, including record ridership, the creation of two additional mobility hubs, and the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer. I commend the over 750 employees at CDTA for their ongoing contributions to community development. The organization's vital role in connecting individuals to economic opportunities is highly valued. I am privileged to work alongside dedicated board members who provide a wealth of expertise and serve as invaluable resources for CDTA.”

Much of the growth we have seen comes from Jayme’s leadership and the progressive vision of our Board of Directors,” said CDTA Interim CEO Michael P. Collins. “We look forward to Jayme continuing to lead CDTA into it next chapters with a new CEO.” 

Lahut was appointed to the CDTA Board of Directors in 2017. He was the first Executive Director of the Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority and retired after 25 years with the organization. A Troy native, he has more than 30 years of experience and broad-based achievement in economic and community development.

The full slate of officers is:

  • Chair – Jayme B. Lahut (Represents Schenectady County)

  • Vice-Chair – Michael J. Criscione (Represents Albany County)

  • Treasurer – Denise A. Figueroa (Represents Albany County)

  • Secretary – Jaclyn L. Falotico (Represents Schenectady County)

Michael J. Criscione (Albany County) was appointed to the Board of Directors in June 2017 and elected Vice-Chairman in 2018. Mr. Criscione operates his own Insurance Agency in Saratoga Springs.

Denise A. Figueroa (Albany County) joined the Board in 2003. She served as Board Chairwoman from 2010 to 2014. Ms. Figueroa is the Executive Director of the Independent Living Center of the Hudson Valley in Troy.

Jaclyn L. Falotico (Schenectady County) joined the Board in June 2017. Mrs. Falotico is the Commissioner of Finance for Schenectady County.

The additional members of the CDTA Board are:

David M. Stackrow (Rensselaer County) has been a board member since 1995, making him the longest-serving Board member in CDTA history. He served as Board Chairman on three separate occasions. Mr. Stackrow is the Managing Partner of Scott Stackrow & Co, CPAs in Troy.

Georgeanna M. Nugent was appointed to the Board in 2009. Ms. Nugent served as Board Chairwoman in 2018, Board Treasurer in 2022 and Board Secretary in 2024. Ms. Nugent is the Regional Environmental Division Director for McFarland-Johnson, Inc.

Jacqueline McDonough (Rensselaer County) joined the Board in June 2024. Ms. McDonough is the Chief of Staff for the Rensselaer County District Attorney.  

Peter D. Wohl (Saratoga County) joined the Board in June 2021. Mr. Wohl is the Chief Performance and Innovation Officer at Broadview Federal Credit Union. 

Patrick M. Lance, Sr., was appointed to the Board in June 2019. Mr. Lance represents Labor.
