CDTA May Service Changes Now In Effect

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA)  announced the following service changes went  into effect on Sunday, May 25, 2014. The changes included improved access on New Scotland Avenue, additional service to Wilton Mall and more service options on the Northway Xpress. Some of the changes made schedules more reliable, while areas with low ridership saw reductions.

CDTA & Music Mobile Team Up To Support Bus Safety

ALBANY, N.Y. (April 18, 2014) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced a partnership today with the Music Mobile to further awareness of CDTA’s bus safety program. Capital Region kids designed and created posters with the help of Music Mobile that will be displayed on many of CDTA’s buses all in the name of safety.

CDTA Announces St. Patrick's Parade Reroutes

(ALBANY, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Saturday, March 15, 2014, buses will be rerouted in downtown Albany from approximately 2:00pm until the end of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. CDTA will also reroute buses in North Albany from 11:30am - 1pm for the  North Albany Limerick Parade.

N.Y. POWER AUTHORITY TO DEVELOP ENERGY MASTER PLAN FOR ALBANY

ALBANY—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) Thursday announced that work is underway on an Energy Master Plan for the City of Albany to help reduce overall energy costs and carbon emissions, advance energy sustainability and support green industries and jobs. In addition, a new page on the NYPA website has been created to solicit ideas from the public and present details on the master-plan process.
