(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) has collaborated with the Empire State Youth Orchestra (ESYO) to offer free transportation to the inner City youth participating in itsAnnual Playathon Fundraiser onSaturday, February, 5, 2011, at Crossgates Mall.
A Public hearing was held by the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and its subsidiary companies with respect to proposed changes to parking rates at the Rensselaer Rail Station.

(Albany, NY) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Monday, January 17, 2011, Martin Luther King Day, buses will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule. The NX Northway Xpress, will not operate. CDTA will provide special shuttle at the EMPIRE STATE PLAZA for the Martin Luther King Celebration. Regular bus service will resume on Tuesday, January 18.

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24, 2010, service will operate on a regular weekday schedule. On Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25, 2010, service will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule. Regular weekday service will resume on Monday, December 27, 2010.
CDTA shuttle buses will provide free transportation between all performance venues to make it easier to get around and avoid traffic in the large crowds. The buses will run during the entirety of the event from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
(Rensselaer, NY) - CDTA and Amtrak would like to remind passengers traveling to and from the Rensselaer Rail station to their Holiday destination to allow for extra time to board trains this week. The Thanksgiving Holiday week is the busiest rail travel time of the year in the Northeast corridor, with peak travel days falling on Wednesday and Sunday. Parking at the Rensselaer Rail station facilities are expected to be near full capacity with space at a premium.
