(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) has introduced a new premium parking program, called “Key to Convenience”, that offers Amtrak customers the opportunity to reserve guaranteed parking space inside the garage at the Rensselaer Rail Station. Through this program, Amtrak customers can “rent” the same spot on a monthly basis for up to 3 months at a time.
(ALBANY, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that on Saturday July 11, 2009, it will extend the operation of its trolley service until 12 midnight to accommodate the Saratoga Gala event. Gala attendees may ride the trolley for free from 9:00pm – 12:30am. The trolley will run its regular route with all stops between SPAC, downtown and Skidmore College.

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) now offers free wireless internet service on its NX Commuter Xpress service. NX’s entire fleet of 15 buses is equipped with Wifi providing customers with another convenient amenity to
enhance their trip to and from Saratoga and Albany.
The wireless internet service, provided through Sprint, has been tested over the last few months. Customers can connect their laptop or PDA to the internet through a wireless router which has been installed on all NX buses.

(Albany, NY) – The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) announced that beginning on June 29th, and for approximately 3-4 weeks, the bus stop on Wilson Street in downtown Albany between Broadway and Pearl Street will be temporarily discontinued to accommodate electrical construction work. Routes leaving Broadway and Orange Street will operate on regular route to left on Clinton Street to left on Pearl Street and back to regular route. Routes affected are.

The 31-day Rolling Swiper is a discounted monthly fare card offering great value, while providing customers with the flexibility to purchase and start using the pass at any time they choose.
(ALBANY) - The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is providing special weekday summer service to Grafton Park from Monday, July 6 – Friday, September 4, 2009.
CDTA has provided Grafton Park service for over 25 years. Customers can board Grafton Park buses at any CDTA bus stop along the route. Amenities offered by the Park include: picnic areas, beach swimming, hiking trails, bicycling areas, nature trails, fishing, playground and boat rentals. The schedule is included in the pdf attached.
